How much do corporate headshots cost in New Jersey?

The short answer: in New Jersey, my on-site headshot day for your team starts at $3,900 for a half day covering up to 20 people, or at $7,000 for a full day covering up to 40. A portrait session for one person is $400 in my Cresskill studio, or $600 on location. I publish my starting prices because you shouldn’t need a discovery call to find out whether we’re in the right range.

What the headshot day price includes

I bring the lighting, the backdrop and a review screen to your office in Bergen County or the New York metro. Every person has a guided session and gets 1 fully retouched image, which they choose with me on screen. A half day includes 2 background options and a full day up to 3, and a group photo is included in both. Travel within 30 minutes of Cresskill is included.

What costs extra, and what it costs

• Additional retouched image: $95 each
• Hair and makeup: $150 per person, or $650 for the day
• Guaranteed 48-hour rush delivery: $300, when I can confirm availability
• Travel beyond 30 minutes of Cresskill: $175 plus tolls, with longer trips, overnight work or unusual access quoted before you book
• More than 40 people: a custom or multi-day plan

Proofs arrive within 3 business days and the final retouched gallery within 10.

What to compare when you get quotes

Quotes are easier to compare when they describe the same work. Ask whether the photographer comes to your office, whether retouching is included or charged per image, who chooses each person’s photo, what usage is included and how travel is charged. My headshot days include standard business usage: internal use, your website, LinkedIn, your company directory, press and recruiting. Paid advertising or endorsement use is quoted separately.

A headshot day photographs your whole team in one planned session, with matching light and backdrop. That’s what helps your team page look planned rather than pieced together. If only a few people need new photographs, send me your headcount and I’ll tell you which option fits.

And if you hire during the year

New people join during the year. Firms that hire steadily can choose annual team photography from $6,500, with the schedule, coverage and terms set in a written proposal.
