Plain-language privacy

This page explains how this website handles information today. If anything here is unclear, write to me.

What the inquiry form collects. Your name and email are required. Everything else is optional: the service you’re interested in, your firm, a rough team size, your office town, your preferred timing and your message. I use these details to read and reply to your inquiry.

How your inquiry reaches me. When you press Send inquiry, the website puts your details into an email to hello@shiranitzhaki.com, with your email address as the reply address. That email goes through my website host’s mail system and is delivered by my email provider, so both of those services handle it. The website doesn’t save your inquiry in its own database.

After you press Send inquiry. If the handoff to the mail system works, the page shows a thank-you note. To show that note only once, the website adds a random one-time code to the page address and keeps a short server record of it that holds only the result and the time, none of your details. The record is removed when the note is shown, and the code stops working after 10 minutes. The note means your message was handed to the mail system, not that it has already reached my inbox. If the handoff doesn’t work, the page tells you and keeps your details on the form, so you can try again or email me directly.

Page requests and fonts. When you load a page, my website host’s servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser details. One of the site’s fonts loads from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google’s font servers, which receive the same kind of technical information.

What the site doesn’t do. The site doesn’t run analytics or advertising trackers, and sending an inquiry doesn’t sign you up for anything. I don’t sell your information or share it for marketing.

Cookies. The inquiry form doesn’t set cookies, and the site doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress sets functional cookies if you log in to the site.

Who reads your inquiry. I read and answer inquiries myself. Your inquiry stays in my email as part of our conversation. If you’d like me to delete it, write to me and I’ll delete it from my inbox.

Photography clients. I publish a client’s name, logo or photographs only with written permission.
